Rotary Drum Screen is the equipment which can continuously and effectively remove suspended solids from wastewater. It is mainly used for municipal and industrial wastewater pre-treatment process. In some wastewater treatment, it can remove 30% – 60% organic or inorganic suspended solids. It can greatly reduce the workload for the subsequent process.

The drum is horizontally rotated under the support of the runners. It is driven by TEFC reducer, anti-corrosion roller chain and stainless-steel sprocket. The spray system automatically sprays clean water. The war water flows in the inner of the drum through the overflow tank. The filtered raw water is diverted to the central drainage area through the bottom plate deflector and slows into the next sewage treatment unit; the slag in the raw water is blocked on the inner surface of the drum filter and is discharged as the drum rotates.
